Rototec enters German market with a milestone acquisition

Rototec Group has on the 24th of October 2024 taken an important step in the geographical expansion strategy by acquiring a group consisting of two reputable geothermal companies in Saxony, Germany. The companies, which essentially operate as one entity, are led by Mike Müller, a driven entrepreneur with several decades’ experience in the industry.

“We see Germany as a very attractive and well-suited market for Rototec’s services and operations. I’m thrilled that we will have Mike’s vast knowledge and experience of the German market and I believe we can also bring in a lot of competence and experience from the Nordics, and that jointly with Mike we will develop a fantastic collaboration to further improve our offering and customer experience”, says Rototec’s CEO Peter Revay.

The acquired companies, Erdwärme & Bohrtechnik GmbH Sachsen and Tiefbau Böhm HOT GmbH, have combined revenues in excess of EUR 4 million and a solid, stable and profitable track record, and are well established and the leading provider of geothermal drilling in its local market in the Saxony region.
